"What is the B.M.C.?"

The B.M.C. stands for the Big Man's Children. This name was decided upon once upon a meeting when we had a brainstorming session for what to call ourselves. It was explained to all that this name should reflect what we're about while keeping the group's personality that had already begun developing in mind. Many ideas were brought up, good ideas, but only one came out on top. That name was the "Big Man's Children"!

"When does the B.M.C. meet?"

The B.M.C. meets every other Saturday evening during the school year, from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the school gym unless stated otherwise in the bulletin or via pulpit announcement. During the summer vacation months, the B.M.C does not meet on the regular schedule but does however make use of quality summer event ministry. Several events will be held where the middle school youth can come together, enjoy the fellowship of the group, and praise God for the gift of being able to do so all at the same time!

"Doin' the Dunes"

Event Date: July 25, 2004
Event Start Time: 10:45 a.m. (in St. Pat's parking lot outside Bldg. #3)
Event End Time: Depart from Dunes State Park at 4:00 p.m.

This day of fun in the sun will include a Mass by Fr. Ian Williams on the grounds of Dunes State Park right here in Chesterton, a barbecue with hot dogs, hamburgers, & possibly some bratwursts, too! After that, it's off to the beach! Swim away the afternoon, play some Frisbee, volleyball, or maybe take a walk. There's a treasure in our own backyard, and we're going to USE IT!!! Call Phil by July 19. If you plan on attending, please visit Diocesan Permission Forms to print out the permission forms to attend. These can be turned in on or before the day of the event.

"School's Out" Picnic

High school and middle school youth alike are invited to come to the picnic area of St. Pat's church for food, music, relaxation from the busy day, and a chance to bring a ball glove, football, or other games to play if so desired! This will be taking place Saturday, June 19th, after 5:30 Mass.

B.M.C. & Altar Server Summer Outing

Voting ballots will soon be mailed to the middle school youth as well as the altar servers of St. Patrick's Church to pick this year's destination for our summer outing. Be on the lookout for this and send it in once received!
