Parishioners for Life
Today is the Sanctity of Human Life Sunday, in remembrance of the millions of preborn babies who have been aborted since Roe v. Wade. In the 37 years since the Supreme Court handed down the decision on January 22, 1973, nearly 50 million innocent American babies have lost there lives to the brutality of abortion. Our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, has called abortion "today's gravest injustice." Let us never forgot and let us never stop working to end the shedding of innocent blood. To that end, in next weeks bulletin there will be a flyer on action items you can do for the cause of Life.
Next Sunday, January 31 is our 2nd annual Breakfast for Life in the school gym from 8 to Noon. The full breakfast is being "cooked-up" by the K of C and many pro-life ministries throughout the region will be on-hand to draw awareness and educate fellow parishioners and community members about the current pro-life issues. Please come and support the pro-life movement will enjoying a delicious breakfast. See the flyer insert for more details.
Please keep the pro-life movement in your prayers.
