Learning About Electronics and Computers
Do your children like working with their hands?
Are they always asking how things work,
or maybe even taking things apart to see what makes them ‘tick’?
Then our Electronics Club is the club for them!
Buzzers, lasers, LEDs, electric eyes, Arduino boards…
Just a few of the things we’ll get our hands on!
We are pleased to offer an Electronics Club to our middle school students. Led by Mr. Jeffrey Herr, a computer professional with over 20 years of experience and a self-professed “tech geek”, participants will learn the basics of working with programmable chips and other electronics. This is a relaxed, fun environment, where the learning is hands-on and “lectures” are at a minimum.
The Electronics Club will run for 7 weeks, meeting once per week, from 23-January through 5-March on Saturday mornings from 9:00 - 10:30am. The cost is $70 and includes an Arduino kit to keep and continue the learning at home! (Send payment with your child to the first class)
Space is limited - only 12 slots!
